Our caregivers undergo a mandatory training programme. The training comprises:

How do I start the hiring process?

Please click Join Now on the top right corner of the page to register. After this, you can log in with your details to select the caregiver of your choice.

I’m satisfied with my current caregiver; can I subscribe my caregiver for training?

Yes. This comes at a discounted fee of Fifteen thousand naira only (N15,000) for the training programme.

What background checks are conducted on the caregivers?

Our caregivers provide references and guarantors who are verified by a security agency before resumption.

How long does it take to have a caregiver resume at my house?

It takes between 24 to 72 hours. Please be informed this is however dependent on you.

What is the process for salary reviews if my caregiver stays beyond one year?

This is subject to negotiations between the client and the caregiver.

Who pays for the medical checks?

This medical fee comes at no cost to you.

I’m satisfied with my current caregiver; can I subscribe my caregiver for training?

Yes. This comes at a discounted fee of Fifteen thousand naira only (N15,000) for the training programme.

What happens if my caregiver quits & I need a replacement?

The recruitment fee paid at inception guarantees that your caregiver gets replaced, at no extra cost, for one year. However, the number of replacements is restricted to a maximum of three (3).

Do I pay recruitment fees every year?

The recruitment fee is paid at the point of recruiting a new caregiver however, if the caregiver is retained beyond a year, the fee no longer applies.

Asides caregivers, are there other value-added options on this platform?

Yes, there are! We recommend some value-adds that we believe will enrich your experience. Please see them below:

  • Insurance: Our customized health insurance cover (in partnership with reputable Insurance companies) with very affordable premiums are available for your caregivers. We believe that this is important because it saves you cost on medical treatment and ensures your caregiver is well taken care of to avoid affecting your child(ren).

  • Buddy watch: We recommend Buddy Watches which allow parents locate their children always. It serves as a pedometer that tells how active your child has been, a sleep tracker for monitoring your child’s sleep hours and once it is taken off, parents are alerted. An SOS emergency button is also available for calling the stored phone numbers on the watch.

  • Nanny Uniforms: We have a variety of professional outfits to make your caregivers look smart and decent for the role. These can be obtained at affordable prices on the platform.

  • Startup kit: We believe that hygiene is critical for the Nanny and for the sake of your babies as well. We therefore, recommend our Nanny Startup kits which contains the basic hygiene needs of your caregiver, take the stress off you and get your Nanny ready from day one. They include bathing soap, body lotion, sponges, toothbrush and paste, deodorants etc.

What categories of caregivers are available on this platform?

The following categories are available:

  • Live-in Nannies: This is a nanny who lives in your home permanently and is expected to undertake all nursery duties relating to the children only. This includes bathing, dressing, laundry, cleaning and preparing nutritious meals. The Nanny may also be expected to do light housework and family cooking.

  • Live-out Nannies: This is a temporary nanny who does not live in your home. She resumes and closes at agreed days and time and is expected to undertake all nursery duties relating to the children only such as bathing, dressing, laundry, cleaning and preparing nutritious meals. The Nanny may be expected to do light housework and family cooking.

  • Mannies: These are male nannies and housekeepers. They may be live-in or live-out.

  • Baby sitters: A caregiver who looks after a child or children, on an hourly basis only. They are usually much younger.

  • Governesses: This is a caregiver who teaches children within their home. In contrast to a nanny, nurse or a babysitter, she concentrates on teaching children, and not their physical needs. They oversee school age children, not babies.

  • Housekeepers: These are live-in or live out domestic assistants who work within a household. They perform a variety of household services for an individual or a family, from providing care for children and elderly dependents to housekeeping, including cleaning and household maintenance.

What medical tests will my caregiver undergo?

All our caregivers undergo a mandatory medical screening before they resume. These tests include: Widal, Pregnancy, HIV, Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis. The results are handed over to you upon request.
